Laser shows are severely regulated by the federal government.

Laser shows in the US must file yearly reports of their activities, and follow a plethora of rules and regulations in order to be legal.

All legal lasers above 5mw (the power of your average cat toy) must be varianced, which means registered with the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), a division of the the FDA.

Once your paperwork for the above is approved, you receive a variance which must be renewed every year. We received our variance in 2015: Variance Number 2015-V-2938. A copy of this document is here (Variance.pdf).

Because we build most of our projectors ourselves, our stack of paperwork is around 90 pages, and we must produce this if we are ever confronted by the laser police (CDRH inspectors).

We also carry 2 Million dollars in liability insurance.
